For be hosted, that are many options available, from distant and private wood chalés in the  mata atlântica forest to small hostels near the historic centre. The Samba Canuta Hostel is placed 800m far from the historic centre, is very clean, has a good breakfast, you can buy tours right in the hostel and the bedroons has towels and everything else that you need for a good staying.
